“Small Plane Crash”
RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA (February 27, 2017) – 22-year-old Adine Farelas has been identified as one of three victims killed in a plane crash on Monday, February 27th, according to a local news source. (map)
Adine was on board a twin engine Cessna 310 that took off from the Riverside Airport around 4:40 p.m. on Monday afternoon, along with a pilot and three other passengers. The plane experienced trouble shortly after takeoff, and witnesses say they saw smoke and possibly flames coming from the plane. The Cessna attempted a banking maneuver before diving and crashing into a house on Rhonda Road in Riverside.
Adine Farelas was tragically among the three people killed in the crash. Also killed was the pilot, Nouri Hijazi, and Nouri’s wife Dana Hijazi. The two survivors were identified as Adine’s mother Sylvia Farelas, and Nouri and Dana’s daughter Stacey Pierce. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
