BOONVILLE, MISSOURI (April 24, 2017) – Two people were killed in a small plane crash off Highway 98 on Monday afternoon, according to a local news source. (map)
The plane was reportedly on approach to Jesse Viertel Memorial Airport near Boonville when it crashed for an unknown reason onto Highway 98. A 67 year old man identified as Charles McCutcheon and 49 year old Bryan Roth were on board the aircraft when it crashed.
Both Charles and Bryan were both tragically pronounced dead at the scene as a result of their injuries. The accident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability, and the FAA and the NTSB are both on site.
