58-Year-Old Motorcycle Rider Dies After Crash on Carmel Valley Road Near Selfridge Lane
CARMEL VALLEY, California (July 07, 2017) – A motorcycle rider, 58, died in a crash on Carmel Valley Road near Selfridge Lane. The crash occurred at around noon today. Officers reported that a male driver of the age of about 69, was driving a pickup truck heading westbound when he swerved around a stopped vehicle and then over corrected into the eastbound lane, hitting the motorcycle. The motorcycle rider was hit and ejected from his bike and died as a result. Nobody was arrested and charges on the pickup driver are being investigated.
