CORONA, CALIFORNIA (March 19, 2017) – A multi-vehicle crash occurred on Sunday night on eastbound SR-91 freeway near the SR-71. (map)
The accident occurred at about 3 a.m. According to reports, the driver responsible for the crash had been trying to pass traffic in a construction zone across the center divider, when he overturned in his vehicle. Corona Fire Department Crews arrived onto the scene of the crash, locating seven vehicles involved in the accident.
Emergency crews arrived on the scene to treat the several injured victims. The driver was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol at the time. Several other vehicles were caused to pile up in the accident .
