COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA (December 20, 2017) – A motorcyclist was killed in an accident on Wednesday on Airway Avenue in Costa Mesa, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 8:52 am on Airway Avenue near Lear Avenue. A 63 year old man identified as Eugene Laro was riding a blue cruiser motorcycle on Airway Avenue when he was involved in a collision with a white 4 series BMW driven by a 24 year old.
Eugene Laro, a resident of Lake Forest, was tragically killed in the collision. The driver of the BMW remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities as they investigate the accident. Initial reports indicate the motorcycle may have struck the right rear of the BMW, but the exact circumstances of the accident is still under investigation at this time.
