Motorist Sustains Injuries after Crashing Vehicle into Home at Cabrillo Point
DISCOVERY BAY, CA (March 13, 2017) – A man sustained injuries after crashing into a home located at Cabrillo Point and Discovery Bay Boulevard. The crash occurred at about 9:35 p.m. when CHP Officers responded to reports of a car that had crashed into a home in a Discovery Bay Neighborhood.
According to the police report, the male driver had first plowed into a parked vehicle and then a mailbox prior to crashing into the home. Witnesses attempted to help the male driver get out of his vehicle after the crash, as he was unable to move his leg.
A tow truck arrived on scene to more the man’s black pickup truck away from the home. The truck was significantly damaged. The crash is still under investigation.
