EL PASO, TEXAS (October 29, 2017) – Two people were seriously injured in a collision with a semi truck on Gateway North on Sunday, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 4:00 pm on Gateway North Boulevard near US-54 and Sun Valley Drive. A semi truck crashed into a red Dodge Dart, pushing it almost 50 yards down from the intersection as a result of the force of the accident.
Two people from the Dodge Dart sustained serious injuries after the accident. Residents that live in the area say that it’s a dangerous intersection, and there have been at least four major accidents in the last two weeks.
Sunday’s accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability. The truck involved in the collision bore an Albertsons logo.
