FRESNO: 2 High Speed Rail Workers Injured in Accident

FRESNO, CALIFORNIA (November 18, 2017) – Two men were injured on Saturday afternoon after an accident at a high speed rail construction site near Highway 99. (map)

The accident happened around 2:30 pm. Two men were working at a construction site working on a high speed rail viaduct, when a tower of rebar collapsed, hitting another tower and sending that down onto the workers.

Two men sustained moderate to major injuries and were hospitalized in unknown condition. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.

“Police will gather evidence and conduct interviews with the drivers and witnesses to determine liability” said the attorneys from HWG Law. “Any injured party involved in an accident will have a bodily injury claim against the negligent driver who caused the accident.”
