FRESNO, CALIFORNIA (January 3, 2017) – According to the California Highway Patrol, three people were hospitalized on Tuesday after a head-on DUI collision on Behymer Street and Minnewawa Avenue. (map)
CHP spokesman Victor Taylor reported that a Chevrolet pickup truck collided with a Ford pickup truck around 9:00 p.m. The driver of the Chevrolet was charged on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Taylor states that the driver of the Ford had to be extricated with the jaws of life and was transported to Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries. A passenger in one of the pickup trucks was also hospitalized.
