GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN (March 2, 2017) – Frederic Tiemann has been identified as the pedestrian that was struck by a car and killed on Thursday night on 28th Street, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of 28th Street SW and Longstreet Avenue, near U.S. 131. 53 year old Frederic William Tiemann II was crossing the street from the south side to the north side when he was struck by an unidentified car.
Frederic Tiemann was tragically pronounced dead as a result of injuries sustained in the accident. The investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability in this accident.
