HAMILTON, MARYLAND (February 1, 2017) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a commuter train near Cutler Road on Wednesday morning, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 7:00 am near Cutler Road. A pedestrian was struck by a commuter train between the Hamilton/Wenham stop, and the Ipswich stop.

The pedestrian was tragically pronounced dead as a result of injuries sustained in the hit. The accident remains under active investigation at this time by the Hamilton Police, the MBTA Police, and the Essex County District Attorney’s office.
