JOHNSON COUNTY, ILLINOIS (December 31, 2016) – 34 year old Curt Terpstra has been identified as one of the four people killed in a small plane crash on New Year’s Eve, according to a local news source. (map)

The small plane, confirmed to have been a Piper PA-28, went down around 5:45 pm near Vienna in Johnson County. Four people on board at the time of the crash were all confirmed to have been killed in the accident.

One of the four was 34 year old Curt Terpestra. The FAA and the NTSB are already on the scene, as well as the manufacturers of the Piper aircraft, as they determine what caused the horrible accident.
