Joshua Daniel Injured in Small Plane Crash on Highway 69

BULLARD, TEXAS (August 1, 2017) – Joshua Daniel was confirmed to have been seriously injured in a small plane crash on Tuesday off Highway 69, according to a local news source. (map)

The small plane, identified as a single engine Cessna 150, took off from the Tyler Pounds Regional Airport and was practicing landings at a nearby grass landing strip when it crashed onto Highway 69 near Bullard. 36 year old Joshua Daniel was reportedly piloting the plane accompanied by his flight instructor, 33 year old Jamie Jackson.

Joshua Daniel suffered serious injuries and had to be intubated following the crash. Jamie Jackson was released from the hospital shortly after the accident. The FAA and the NTSB is on scene to investigate the accident at this time.
