SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA (October 15, 2017) – Kazumasa Nozaki was identified as the bicyclist killed in an accident on Sunday evening, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 7:00 pm on Sunday evening in the 200 block of Pacific Coast Highway. 23 year old Kazumasa Nozaki was riding a bicyclist northbound on PCH, when he was struck from behind by a northbound vehicle.
Kazumasa Nozaki was tragically pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries. The driver that struck Kazumasa initially fled the scene, but later returned and is cooperating with the investigation, which is ongoing.
