The accident happened around 6:00 pm on Washington Avenue near Davenport Way. 43 year old Khuda Dad was riding a bicycle northbound on Washington Avenue, as a white Pontiac van was also traveling northbound. Khuda and the van collided near Davenport Way for an unknown reason.
Khuda was rushed to a local hospital after the accident in critical condition, and he tragically succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead a short time later. The accident remains under investigation, and the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
