LEMON GROVE, CALIFORNIA (January 30, 2017) – A drunk driver crashed into the playroom of a house in the 1600 block of Colfax Drive on Monday, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 2:00 am in the 1600 block of Colfax Drive. A Toyota Tundra driven by an intoxicated driver crashed into a power pole that then toppled onto a home. The pickup truck also crashed into the house’s playroom.
The truck’s driver was arrested for DUI, and the family was allowed to return to the home later that day. There were no reports on injuries sustained in the accident, but the accident remains under open investigation at this time.
