PASADENA, CALIFORNIA (December 22, 2017) – Luis Sanchez has been identified as the pedestrian that was struck by a car and killed on Monday on Los Robles Avenue, according to an article by PasadenaNow. (map)
The accident happened around 10:27 pm on December 18 on North Los Robles Avenue. 29 year old Luis Sanchez was crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a black 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a 53 year old man from LA.
Luis Sanchez was tragically pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries. The man that struck Sanchez remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The accident remains under active investigation at this time to determine cause and liability, and HWG Law is still retrieving information. Initial reports indicate that Sanchez may have been intoxicated at the time of the accident, but it is unclear whether or not that contributed to the accident in any way. Drivers still have a responsibility to watch for pedestrians. The identity of the driver that struck Luis is unknown at this time.
