Mariah Zollinger Injured in Pennsylvania Plane Crash

CAMBRIA COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA (November 25, 2017) – Mariah Zollinger was among the four members of the Zollinger family that were injured in a plane crash on Saturday, according to a local news source. (map)

The small plane crash happened around 1:30 pm on Saturday, November 25th. A Piper PA-34 was en route to Pennsylvania from Indiana, carrying Wayne Doug Zollinger and Dawn Zollinger, and their children Zach and Mariah. The plane crashed in a remote wooded area for an unknown reason, injuring all four occupants.

Mariah Zollinger sustained bumps and bruises after the accident. Her mother Dawn sustained a broken arm and leg, her father Doug sustained a head injury, and her brother Zach had a facial injury. All four were hopsitalized. The FAA is investigating the accident to determine what went wrong. Doug Zollinger had just bought the plane in 2013, the same year he obtained his pilot’s license.
