MODESTO, CALIFORNIA (January 15, 2017) – A collision involving a tanker truck left three people with injuries on Highway 132 on Sunday, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 10:00 am on the westbound side of Highway 132, near Geer Road. A tanker truck used for collecting waste from portable bathrooms sideswiped a Ford Expedition traveling west for unknown reasons. The SUV spun out as a result of the impact.
Two occupants in the SUV and the driver of the truck were both injured in the accident and were hospitalized. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
