NORTHRIDGE, CALIFORNIA (March 1, 2017) – A multi car accident resulted in at least one person being injured on State Route 118 on Wednesday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 9:30 a.m. on the westbound side of State Route 118 near Tampa Avenue. A grey Hyundai sedan, a Honda Accord, a white Mazda, a blue Prius, and possibly a UPS truck were involved in an accident for unknown reasons. One car went up an embankment, another rolled over and landed upright on its wheels. One car was reported to have major front end damage as a result of the accident.
An ambulance reported to the scene after a report of injuries, to tend to anyone injured in the accident. The incident remains under active investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
