OXFORD: Peter Kintzer Killed when Tree Collapses onto Car on Sutton Avenue

OXFORD, MASSACHUSETTS (March 2, 2017) – A man was killed in a tree accident on Thursday afternoon on Sutton Avenue, according to a local news source. (map)

55-year-old Peter Kintzer was driving a black Honda Fit down Sutton Avenue around 1:30 p.m., when winds blew over an old oak tree, which collapsed onto Kintzer’s car.

Peter Kintzer was tragically pronounced dead as a result of injuries sustained in the accident. An investigation is ongoing, and officials are checking other weak trees along the same stretch of road at this time.
