The accident was reported around 12:45 pm at a location on Southwest Citrus Boulevard and Southwest Grove Street in Palm City. A person was badly injured in an accident involving heavy machinery.
The injured party, who remains unidentified, was rushed to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and Heart Institute with injuries described as traumatic. The accident remains under investigation.
