A 29 year old man with two passengers in his vehicle was driving a 2002 Chrysler Sebring south on Highway 101 when he veered into an active construction zone. Despite barricades and signs, the man continued driving almost 1.8 miles down the unfinished road until he finally crashed into a concrete structure.

The driver was identified as 29 year old Teodulo Francisco Tovar Jr, and the other passenger was Teodulo’s mother Veronica April Anderson.
