PHOENIX: Five Injured in Accident on 67th Ave and Thomas Rd

“Investigation Ongoing”

PHOENIX, ARIZONA (October 25, 2017) – Four teenagers and a 27 year old woman were injured in a two car accident on Wednesday in Phoenix, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened at the intersection of North 67th Avenue and West Thomas Road. A silver two door sedan carrying four teenagers collided with a white SUV carrying a 27 year old woman and several children for an unknown reason. The silver sedan sustained heavy passenger side damages, while the SUV appeared to have front end damage consistent with a t-bone style collision.

The four teenagers, identified as three boys ages 15, 16, and 17 and a 16 year old girl, were all rushed to the hospital in serious condition. The 27 year old driver of the SUV was also hospitalized in stable condition. Her children were reportedly safely and properly secured in car seats, and as a result were uninjured.

The accident remains under active investigation at this time to determine cause and liability. It is unknown how the vehicles collided or what the current condition of those involved is at this time.
