“Tragic fatal accident”
RAMONA, CALIFORNIA (February 2, 2017) – According to the California Highway Patrol, an 83-year-old male motorcyclist was killed in a head-on collision on Highland Valley Road and Highland Trails Drive. (map)
CHP Officer Kevin Pearlstein reported that a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria was traveling southbound on Highland Trails Drive around 3:00 p.m. when he crossed double-yellow lines and collided with the motorcyclist that was traveling northbound on Highland Valley Road with his 2017 Yamaha.
Officer Pearlstein stated that the motorcyclist was ejected from his motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending notification of family. The driver of the Ford was uninjured.
