“Cargo Van and Big Rig Collision”
REDLANDS, CALIFORNIA (January 19, 2017) – A jackknifed big rig and a white cargo van collided on 10 Freeway and 210 Freeway on Thursday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 4:15 am at the intersection of the 210 Freeway and the 10 Freeway in Redlands. A semi-truck jackknifed for unknown reasons, blocking several lanes. A white cargo van then crashed into the jackknifed semi-truck, causing all of the lanes to be blocked.
The impact injured at least one person inside the van, and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene to tend to those injured in the accident. The accident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability.
