Robert David Halter Killed in Accident at Massillon Museum Site

MASSILLON, OHIO (October 30, 2017) – A man delivering equipment to a construction site was killed in a tragic accident on Monday, according to a local news source. (map)

71 year old Robert David Halter was delivering equipment to a construction site on Monday morning, at a museum site in Massillon. Robert was fastening chains onto a semi truck when the driver pulled away abruptly, pinning Robert underr the wheel.

Emergency responders extricated Robert Halter from beneath the semi truck, but he was tragically pronounced dead a short time later. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
