The accident happened around 8:09 pm at an unidentified intersection in La Mirada. A pedestrian, identified as 52 year old Samuel Medina Arias, was struck by an SUV and potentially a second vehicle.
Samuel Arias was tragically pronounced dead at the scene as a result of his injuries. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
