SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA (February 5, 2017) – A motorcycle rider was killed on Sunday evening after being hit by a car on Interstate 10, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 9:07 am on the northbound side of Interstate 10 near Oak Glen Road. A man riding a 2012 Kawasaki motorcycle was struck by an unidentified vehicle, which immediately fled the scene.
The motorcyclist was rushed to Loma Linda University Medical Center by responding paramedics, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries and died. A witness at the scene told the police that the vehicle that struck the motorcyclist had a license plate of 7WJH039. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
