“Several Cars Collide on Highway”
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA (February 28, 2017) – Several vehicles were involved in a auto accident which left 5 people injured on Interstate Highway 280 in San Francisco Tuesday evening, according to Fire officials. (map)
The incident was reported at approximately 9:25 p.m. Firefighters responded to a four vehicle crash on southbound Highway 280 south of Geneva Avenue. Two people were critically injured. One person had to be extricated from beneath a vehicle after being ejected during the crash. The victims who sustained the critical injuries were taken to trauma centers for treatment.
The three other victims of the accident sustained minor injuries. A Sig-Alert was issued in order to clear the blocked lanes of interstate 280.
