“Bicycle Accident”
SANTA ROSA, CALIFORNIA (January 17, 2017) – Patricio Navarro was injured after being struck by a pickup truck on Fulton Road and Francisco Road on Tuesday, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 5:20 pm at the intersection of Fulton Road and Francisco Avenue. Initial reports indicate that 52 year old Patricio Navarro was riding a bicycle when he swung wide from Francisco Avenue onto Fulton Road, where he collided with a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck driven by a 43 year old woman. Patricio Navarro flew up onto the truck’s windshield, and as he fell off the hood he was then struck by a Toyota Prius driven by a 34 year old man.
Patricio Navarro was rushed to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with critical injuries and was listed in life threatening condition. The driver of the pickup truck was identified as 43 year old Maria Sierra, and the driver of the Prius was identified as 34 year old Josiah Ham. The two drivers remained at the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
