The accident happened around 9:50 am at a construction site on the corner of 4th Avenue and Blanchard Street. A 30 year old construction worker was reportedly injured when a load of building materials fell and hit him on the head.

The man was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition. Initial reports indicate the materials that fell may have been plywood, and fell up to 20 feet. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
