Wednesday, May 5, 2021, in Fontana, at 2:30 p.m.- Steven Michael Hendrickson, 35, was driving a Tesla Model 3 on Auto Pilot and slammed into an overturned semi truck on the 210 Freeway. near Citrus. Hendrickson died in the collision.

The Semi-Truck over-turned onto the 210 freeway spilling it’s payload onto the road. Two other people were seriously injured in the collision, including a passing by driver who attempted to help the driver of the semi. Both the semi driver and the Good Samaritan were severely injured and transported to a local hospital.
