STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA (February 7, 2017) – According to the California Highway Patrol, two people were killed on Tuesday in a head-on collision on Highway 4 west of South Whiskey Slough Road. (map)

The CHP reported that a silver 2006 Chevrolet, driven by a 24-year-old Stockton man, was traveling eastbound on CA-4 around 2:43 p.m. when he crossed into the westbound lane to pass other eastbound vehicles and crashed head-on into a black 1991 Honda. Both occupants of the Honda were killed by the accident.

The CHP stated that the driver of the Chevrolet was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
