“Investigation Ongoing”

BENECIA, CALIFORNIA (September 9, 2017) – A small plane that went missing on Saturday was found on Sunday morning with both occupants tragically dead, according to a local news source. (map)

The plane, described as a single engine Bonanza Beechcraft, was on its way to the Arcata airport from Concord’s Buchanan Field. Two men were on board, identified as 67 year old Terry Vallee and his 43 year old son Preston Vallee. Terry was reportedly flying the plane at the time of the accident.

The plane crashed for an unknown reason around the 2200 block of Lake Herman Road in Benicia. Sadly, both Terry Vallee and Preston Vallee were pronounced dead as a result of the accident. The NTSB and the FAA are both on hand to investigate the accident at this time.

“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all family members and friends as they cope with such tragic loss,” said the attorneys from HWG Law Firm. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all parties affected in this tragedy as they try to piece together what happened.”
