“Fatal Pedestrian Accident”
VISALIA, CALIFORNIA (January 3, 2017) – A car versus pedestrian collision on December 16, 2016 ends in fatality. The accident occurred on Jacob Street and Allen Avenue, at approximately 8:40 p.m. (map)
The victim of the accident has been identified as 69-year-old Jeannette Hasbun, of Visalia. After over two weeks, Hasbun succumbed to the major head trama she sustained at Fresno Regional Medical Center.
Hasbun had been crossing west on Jacob Street, when she was struck by a 2001 Saturn sedan traveling south on Jacob Street. The driver has been identified as 60-year-old Rosie Salas, of Visalia.
The accident is still under investigation to determine the cause.
