HERNANDO, MISSISSIPPI (December 2, 2017) – Wayne House has been identified as one of the two men killed in a gyrocopter crash in DeSoto County on Saturday, according to a local news source. (map)

The crash happened on Saturday evening just after 6:00 pm. An experimental gyrocopter type aircraft with two people on board took off from the Eagles Ridge airport, and crashed for an unknown reason a short time later in a heavily wooded area.

The two people on board, 70 year old Wayne House and 43 year old Richard House were both tragically killed as a result of the accident. The gyrocopter was mostly destroyed in the crash, but the NTSB and the FAA are both on site to investigate. HWG Law is still receiving updates on this accident at this time.

“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all family members and friends as they cope with such tragic loss,” said the attorneys from HWG Law. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all parties affected in this tragedy as they try to piece together what happened.”
