WESTMINSTER, CALIFORNIA (December 20, 2017) – A fatal multi car accident on the 405 Freeway occurred early Wednesday morning, according to an article by KTLA. (map)
The accident happened around 2:00 am on the southbound side of Interstate 405 near Westminster Boulevard. Four vehicles were involved in an accident for an unknown reason, causing at least one of the cars to overturn, and a fire was also reported from one of the vehicles.
One person was pronounced dead as a result of injuries sustained in the accident.The accident was severe enough to shut down all southbound lanes until 3:19 am, when the slow lane was reopened. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability, and HWG Law is still receiving updates at this time.
