The accident happened on Sunday around 11:00 am. A Cessna aircraft was heading for the Molokai airport when it crashed for an unknown reason in a remote area about 4 miles west of the airport. The plane immediately burst into flames, and was almost destroyed by the time emergency personnel reached the scene.

78 year old Dr. William F. Vogt, a retired dentist from Honolulu and his 74 year old wife Lynn Vogt were confirmed to be the two victims on board the plane at the time of the accident, and both were sadly killed. The accident remains under open investigation to determine cause and liability at this time, and HWG Law is still receiving updates.

“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all family members and friends as they cope with such tragic loss,” said the attorneys from HWG Law. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all parties affected in this tragedy as they try to piece together what happened.”
